Black Lives Matter - Graceland

There's a story that would fit with a larger piece exploring which residents have a "Right To the City" throughout the U.S.

During the summer of 2016 a series of demonstrations organized by activists associated with the Black Lives Matter movement culminated in an attempt to disrupt the annual memorial vigil for Elvis Presley in front of his former home, Graceland, in Memphis. The overwhelming police presence which allowed Elvis fans, most of them white, and prevented demonstrators, most of them black, from walking along the public street, Elvis Presley Blvd., where the vigil occurs resulted in a federal civil rights lawsuit against the city and Elvis Presley Enterprises.
